A big Thank You from the Staff, Volunteers and Service Users at Abbey Road Centre goes out to:

C L Jones of Bethesda, for kindly donating 2 bags of builders sand and a bag of cement, which will be used to repair the Drop in garden steps, and
Ruth of 'Just Dance', for kindly donating two tickets to the forthcoming show at Pontio, 'Frazzled', where Ruby Wax talks about the benefits of mindfulness.

On behalf of the Staff, Volunteers and Service Users, I would like to thank Kieran and his Team at Bangor University for all the hard work that they have done, designing and creating a fresh and modern website for the Abbey Road Centre. Special thanks go to the photographer, who has made our Centre look so good in the photographs.

 
Kieran and his Team undertook a project as part of their Website Design and Creation Course to ‘Design and Create a New Website for Abbey Road Centre’.

 
The remit was to bring the Centre into the modern age, with a future-proof website that would look good not only on desktops and laptops, but also on all types of mobile computer systems, including tablets and smartphones.

 
It also needed to be visually appealing, easy to navigate, and be capable of displaying the various services we have on offer through both the medium of images and text.

 
Most importantly, it had to be easy to maintain and update by Centre Staff (namely Me!).

 
Well, the finished product is all of those things and much more, and I think they have done a fantastic job in making our wish for a 21st Century Website come true.

 
So, thank you once again, Kieran and Team, for a job well done.
